We believe that education spreads far and wide, and if you’re not willing to share, you really cap out in this industry. Trends move fast, techniques change and modernize daily, that being humble enough to always learn is a must. Then being eager enough to teach it to others.

  • Enjoy the freedom of a flexible schedule that allows you to balance work and personal life, ensuring you can perform at your best both in and out of the salon.

    We will always be closed on Sundays and never require any education on that day. Outside of that, there is room for flexibility and needs of our stylists.
    Currently our hours are as followed:

    Monday: 10am-5pm

    Tuesday: 10am-8pm

    Wednesday: Closed (optional)

    Thursday: 10am-8pm

    Friday: 10am-5pm

    Saturday: Closed(optional)

    We do require our stylists to work at least one evening a week.

    In addition to these hours, currently there is no cap on non-paid time off. We want you to live with the freedom to do all the things you’d love to do!

    Additionally, our salon is closed for all major holidays, including:

    • New Years Day

    • Good Friday (evening)

    • Memorial Day

    • 4th of July Weekend

    • Labor Day

    • Halloween (evening only)

    • Thanksgiving weekend

    • Christmas through New Year’s

  • We are committed to your professional development with clear pathways for career advancement and opportunities to expand your skills and expertise.

    Through education we've received from Next Level Salon Leadership and Britt Seva's "Thriving Leadership". We bring the most industry forward growth and compensation plans with opportunities to receive up to 70% profit of profit, meaning, we give our stylists the most of the profit from everything they do. We do this by quarterly running numbers to stay up-to-date with each stylists performance. You may notice our commission rates seem low, but we pull the commission without any hidden or unknown service fees resulting in clear expectations in pay and still giving our stylists the lions share of the profit.

  • We offer a comprehensive Britt Seva course called "Thriving Stylist," designed specifically for hairstylists to focus on marketing and understanding the business side of our industry. Participation in this course is required.

    We have Paul Mitchell educators come in at least twice a year, and we also provide online education sessions that we watch together as a fun team event.

    Additionally, we offer to pay 50% of the cost to receive your extension certifications for weft extensions. As well as added follow up education and a strategic marketing plan to dive deep into your business in them!

  • We work with the best products in the industry. We use the entire Paul Mitchell color line, with select Paul Mitchell products on our shelves for retail. Our styling line features our favorite, most-used product line is Innersense Organic Beauty, known for its exceptional quality and organic hair care solutions as well a small selection of Moroccan Oil Products. For extensions, we use AQUA Extensions for their highest quality of hair on the market as well as the excellent education they offer.

    Our salon also offers apothocary line, Rockee Redd, Glow Beauty Brushes, and Modern Foils.

  • We offer marketing content for social media as well as headshots and team photos updated at least once a year.

  • We offer incentivized paid time off based on retail sales.

    For every $1,000 in retail you sell, you earn $200 towards a week off at the salon! This can be achieved an unlimited number of times and we pay out any unused vacation time at the end of each year.

  • We provide all necessary salon equipment and tools to ensure our team can create an exceptional salon experience. With the exception of shears, as that can be a personal choice.

  • We also pride ourselves in our most-loved Hair Day! Enjoy a dedicated day where each of our stylists get to do each others hair! Starting off with some complimentary coffee and later enjoying a lunch together, this time ensures our teams hair stays up-to-date, and builds our skills and confidence together.

Our Stylist Growth Roadmap

ADAPTIVE Stylist

  • This is for all newly licensed stylists (less than 6 months). You will start as an assistant to learn the ropes of our salon, expand your skills, and create a confidence that will pour into your clientele.

  • Our goal is to make the most of your time by providing the best education to help you become an exceptional stylist. As an adaptive stylist, you will assist owners and expert stylists, learning our systems, perfecting your skills, and gaining top-notch business-building education through the Thriving Stylist Method. You will work 21-32 hours per week with a competitive hourly wage of $11.50. After two weeks, you’ll become eligible to open one day in your schedule for friends and family. As your clientele grows, more days will be added. After four months, you'll become eligible for a promotion to adaptive stylist trainer with a pay raise to $12.50, training our next stylist the systems you were taught.

  • Once you've completed at least 6 months of being licensed, have 20+ clients a month, 3 new requests per month, show up 3 times a week on social media, and completed your training, you will graduate to a Cultivated Stylist.

  • Wages start at $11.50 per hour with opportunities to grow into a trainer role starting at $12.50. With this level stylist, the annual income potential is $11,600 - $17,700 (not including tips from services performed).

    You will qualify for our vacation time benefit for every $1000 sold in retail, $200 goes towards a week off of vacation.

    Our goal is to graduate all Adaptive Stylists into Cultivated Stylists in 6-12 months.

Cultivated Stylist

  • This role is for stylists with over 6 months of experience, serving more than 20 clients per month, and receiving 4 referrals a month.

  • Cultivated Stylists have adapted to the salon environment, gained confidence behind the chair, and are beginning to leverage their skills to grow. Training from the Thriver's Society should be completed, and the skills learned should be second nature. Now, the focus shifts to setting and achieving KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and goals on a weekly basis.

  • Once you consistently hit your KPIs and goals, you will be eligible for a promotion to Scaling Stylist.

  • Commission rates start at 33% with opportunity to earn more based on weekly revenue. With this level stylist, the annual income potential is $16,000- $35,000.

    You will qualify for our vacation time benefit for every $1000 sold in retail, $200 goes towards a week off of vacation.

    Our goal is to graduate all Cultivated Stylists into Scaling Stylists in 12-24 months.

Scaling Stylist

  • This role is for stylists with over 18 months of experience, serving more than 50 clients per month, and receiving 8 referrals a month.

  • Scaling Stylists have cultivated themselves to live out the salon culture, honing their skills to a zone of excellence. They consistently hit their KPIs, work towards doubling their income from the prior year, and execute marketing with cohesive excellence. Training from the Thriver's Society should be completed, and the skills learned should be second nature.

  • Once you've completed your goals, attended three major education classes from approved, well-known industry educators, and discovered your zone of genius, you will be eligible for a promotion to Expert Stylist.

  • Commission rate at 35% with opportunity to grow based on weekly revenue. With this level stylist, the annual income potential is $25,000- $60,000+

    You will qualify for our vacation time benefit for every $1000 sold in retail, $200 goes towards a week off of vacation.

    Our goal is to graduate all scaling stylists into Expert stylists in 48 months.

Expert Stylist

  • Our Expert Stylists are the best of the best, consistently hitting and exceeding their goals on a quarterly basis. This role is for stylists with over 48 months of experience, serving more than 60+ clients per month, and consistently receiving 12 referrals per month.

  • Expert Stylists have the opportunity to soar! They take on an adaptive stylists to coach and mentor, embracing responsibility and leadership within the team. This role not only emphasizes personal excellence but also fosters the growth and development of others.

  • Although this is the highest stylist level we offer, growth continues through pricing raises and the support of assistants. The next tier from here includes the opportunity to become a Partner within our salon or to grow into a Co-Owner role for new locations in the future.

  • Commission rate at 38% with opportunity to grow based on revenue. With this level stylist, the annual income potential is $40,000- $100,000+

    You will qualify for our vacation time benefit for every $1000 sold in retail, $200 goes towards a week off of vacation.
